Helldivers. $40 is a bit spicy for my friend group. We don't have a good enough track record to keep playing a game to justify full price.

If you think about it, it just proves the 'genius' behind these companies advertising strategies. They have managed to convince a large percentage of the population that their mass market products a rare, unique and something to be desired.

The search results are good but the limited searches make me anxious for running out. If it grows enough to the point where they can sustain themselves by offering the unlimited tier for $3-5 I might switch but not with the current pricing.

Next up: allow side loading!

I might actually consider getting an iPhone.

(it's crazy you still cannot get a version of Firefox with both adblock and bookmarks sync on ios)

I think there were two issues with it.

They never really had a good UI indication of what elements are 3d touchable. This meant the average user never really used the feature too much and it was frustrating for some to try to find functionality that was "hidden" visually from the UI.

Also the phones with 3d touch had significantly worse battery life than in the following years. Apparently the pressure sensing hardware took up a lot of space in the phone. I'm sure they could have made them a bit thicker, but this is Apple we're talking about.

Force touch still exists on the mac, and it has kinda the same UI issue going on. I'm personally not a huge fan of it though as even if you know you want to force touch something, you can't really immediately do it. You first have to tap/click on the element and then apply more pressure, which makes the process a bit cumbersome.

It's weird because podcast addict still does this on my android phone but apple music doesn't..

You don't need to install the launcher anymore. Heroic launcher can run most of your epic store games. (both on Windows and Linux!)

So enjoy the games without the major privacy concerns

I wouldn't even necessarily mind paying a subscription but having a monthly search limit just gives me anxiety.

Is there a way to see what posts you have upvoted? I was trying to show a cool thing I saw on lemmy earlier to someone but I can't seem to find a list of my past upvotes.

I tried looking in Jerbora, Summit and Liftoff (still trying out the android apps), and also on the webpage of my instance, but none of these seem to have it.

Sorry if this has been asked, Google hasn't returned anything relevant.
