A couple years ago YouTube decided to F up their search. It used to be mostly things you are searching for, now it's:

20% thing you searched for,

20% Shorts,

10% people also watched,

10% related [extremely tangentially]

10% For You

and 30% ads.

I don't blame anyone for wanting someone to suggest a link after YT's search became hot garbage.

Not that much when the weather is great motorcycle riding weather, but I've just gotten to level 16 in Palworld and beat the first 3 boss fights.

Headphones with an internal MicroSD slot or at least lots of internal storage to locally play back music.

What is this equation? When I see 1/(2πi) I immediately think of inverse Fourier transforms but the DT (instead of dΩ) shoots that down, then I see strange nested logarithms.

It boils down to two broad categories for me:

  1. How locked down the OS is on iPhones and iPads. We've seen recent progress (Safari extensions, retro console emulators), but we're still far from a serious OS. iOS still lacks a proper file management system (especially for playing back local audio) and no side-loading is still a deal breaker.
  2. Obscene markups for easily accessible parts. Apple still believes 8GB RAM is worth $200, and they believe 1TB storage is worth $800. I'd rather just get something with replaceable RAM and storage.

Is OpenRecall secure as well? One of my biggest problems with MS recall is that it stores all your personal info in plain text.

This is why I don't use Adobe.

I'm so glad I saw the red flags from earlier and decided to stay far away from anything Adobe.

Anyways, this is the new business tactic. Start stealing confidential information by somehow forcing a new ToS change or update.

The next generation of design is already taking shape. It's a simplistic skewmorphic design, where it looks like the logo has been made out of clay. Look at the new Reddit and Android logo.

I never knew the word was used as a slur or had sexual connotations. I thought it was a verb akin to "nerf" or "cripple", as in "Windows 11 gimped the taskbar functionality." I guess this word is still bad, as I want to enhance, not "gimp," my pictures.

I'm curious, what would happen if I, as a creator, had been contacted by a sponsor and then if the sponsor was shady, decided to not only say no to the contract, but also rag on them in the video where the sponsor would have been shilled?

At least consider it. It will make shady sponsors less valuable and more genuine sponsors more valuable.

They absolutely deserve to be blasted in the comments for a bad sponsor. It will make people reconsider their viewing decisions. If the video itself also wasn't great, don't be afraid to give it a big fat dislike, especially if you have the return YouTube dislike extension.

Additionally, if there are too many ads and sponsors, make your voice heard in the comments, and the creator might be sympathetic. I certainly am when I'm on the receiving end of a comment like that on my channel.
