I have this issue often. I know if I scratch, it will wake me up and take longer to sleep because of my body movement. If I don't scratch, my mind only focuses on the itch. Sometimes I'll wait 5 minutes for the scratch to go away and then I just cave and start scratching any minor itch I have on my body. Has anyone just not moved and let the itch subside or does everyone scratch?

The “X” trick is when you have a insect bite and you press your nails in and make an X. However it hasn’t been the antidote that was promised for me personally. I swear by those Benadryl “after bite” sticks. That’s the shit.

If it’s more of a rash then I don’t bother with the stick and go for that good good relief from the Benadryl anti itch ointment. That shit works

I'm going to try both these things. The X trick sounds on par with with what I'm now going to call "The slapping it trick", but mostly I've just been trying to power through it like some kind of animal without access to modern medicine and Amazon prime which is really unnecessary.
