The really small ones with friends or local organizations

I can't keep up with the big ones, I end up muting them all

How can anyone can keep up with the big ones? I’ve tried it a few times, but it’s really hard to get a conversation going…

It feels like yelling into a waterfall. I also don't like when a server has too many bots and features enabled. The simpler it is, the better.

Maybe I get overwhelmed easily, but I just don't feel like participating if there's constant spam going by

Yup, after reddit I tried it again and join a lot of servers… but as you said, it was just a bit too overwhelming.
