Just as the title asks I've noticed a very sharp increase in people just straight up not comprehending what they're reading.

They'll read it and despite all the information being there, if it's even slightly out of line from the most straightforward sentence structure, they act like it's complete gibberish or indecipherable.

Has anyone else noticed this? Because honestly it's making me lose my fucking mind.

I think COVID did a lot of brain damage. People are acting crazier and more reckless in the last few years and I can't think of any other reason for it.

I don’t know if it’s Covid itself but at least driven by Covid lockdowns and isolation. I am just as sane as always because I’m very level headed and not extreme about anything.

Yet I’ve seen some of my friends/acquaintances go off the deed end. They’ve become hyper obsessed with politics.

It’s been strange to watch. My best friend came out as a trans woman. My girlfriend’s mother who is a crazy liberal hippy, can’t stop saying Trump is the savior. wtf.

I have friends who won’t leave their homes.

It has been a wild ride over the past few years. I think the simulation broke. I use to laugh at Elon for saying that crap but things have just been off.

Nah man ive seen coworkers who spent this whole time in the office and caught covid multiple times become imbeciles no matter how good they were at the job. I've been home this whole time and I'm working with so many idiots.
