Ugh, that's a bad feeling. You feel like you escaped hell when you were just in purgatory all along.
I don’t know what to do. I’m in my 40s, making good money, but I can’t stay here. Worried that I’ll leave for another hellscape. Don’t trust my own judgement anymore.
Kind of want to start my own thing but that’s a whole other level of scary.
You could start building up your own thing slowly on the side? Then maybe it gets to the level that you do it exclusively, but you've not given up the stability of the hellish job.
