I was wondering, with all the different Lemmy clients and frontends, what/which out of these do people actually use? To answer this, I made a poll if anyone wants to fill it out, and I tried to put every client I could find.

Definitely not mlem - a developer brigaded me here with sock puppets once lol.

I was commenting on a lemmy.ml thread and must have triggered someone who had access to mlem accounts, presumably a developer. They used several accounts to instantly downvote me and upvote themselves. The account I was engaging with in retrospect had a lot of posts that indicated the user was unstable and I should have just ignored them - oops. I found that out because their comments to me were posted in the dunk tank and other users pointed out their comment history and the brigaded voting. I checked the upvotes and sure enough, the exact same accounts were going around immediately upvoting the user in their arguments (including the mlem acct). You would think someone who works with the ActivityPub protocol would be a little more discreet about their sock puppets, but apparently not.

Could you do us a favor and send all info about this to [email protected]? I would like to have a look at what's going on. This is ridiculous if true.

Thanks!

Oh I thought you meant something to do with actual sock puppets, like made of socks

That would be much more interesting, I admit.
