Yup. The vast majority of internet users NEVER:
Customizes their web experience
Uses apps almost exclusively
Navigates beyond the first page/screen
How will they react to this?
That's how.

I'm afraid that's always been the case because the mass majority just don't a give a shit. They'll happily conform to whatever the monopolies tell them to.
