We should give death row inmates a choice: capital punishment, or be used in place of animals for product testing.

Ah yes, "the choice should be spend money to euthanize them with the the death penalty or torture them with money with an even more cruel death penalty." Your opinion is actually unpopular because it is a shit opinion.

Half of our prisons are filled with inmates in the US. Who have been punished for federal crimes relating to weed. So let's just torture them and that will teach those inmates they are instead at fault because the world is shitty for testing products on animals instead.

Fuck this opinion for sure.

Capital punishment is issued to those who commit atrocities like murder, genocide, treason, and terrorism, not for weed related crimes. I'm thinking people like Albert Fish, Timothy McVeigh, Ted Bundy.

There are many cases of people being sentenced to death wrongfully. For that reason the punishment shouldn't exist.

Can't open the article, but I agree, the punishment shouldn't exist -- except for those like the people I listed previously. I figure they might as well be put to some good use. People such as Carlos DeLuna and Cameron Todd Willingham should not be counted among the likes of Ted Bundy, and should not have been executed.
