Just wondering what the limit is on rule 2 as I see things like covid vaccine effect questions, what scams are still around and other spicy topics. Don't want to make anyone upset but it seemed odd.

Yes I read that as well, I thought it was a bit silly and did not really think the dunk tank was looking good. I would say that was a bad time, and the 2 hexbear comments where just straight insults (rule 2) but the whole post is pulled. Does this mean any hexbear can just comment nasty style and the whole post gets pulled?

one was an insult. Do you think the post was removed for insulting comments, or for insulting premise?

That is what I am asking. There was 2 insults and 3 supporting comments with a positive overall vote. I want to know if it was nuked due to the post itself or the comments.

Initially the post itself and confirmed by the comments. Mod tools on Lemmy are very simple and I didn't have time or interest in babysitting a thread that was already looking for a negative, unhelpful discussion. If you really want this discussion, try [email protected].

At the end of the day, it was a mod judgements call about the type of content we want to see on this community.
