What do y'all think about working excessive hours on something that is wholely yours(not working for someone else)?
This isn't exactly the most prevalent opinion, but a major part of how these things work is the induced mentality. The main question would be "are you working yourself to death, trying to meet unrealistic expectations set by the dominant societal mindset?"
If, instead, you're just tinkering and like doing what you're doing, that's a different story.
I am in the tinkerer category so I guess that is why I found the blanket statement of this post be not entirely accurate.
When I am excited about something I think about it almost constantly. I know there are a lot of other people in the same boat.
I hear that. Fuck the blanket statement, except where relevant. :-)
