Pretty much En from Dorohedoro. Mushroom magic that at first glance may look silly until you realize the sort of destruction it is truly capable of.
Since the anime got cancelled afaik, is it worth reading the manga? What do you think?
Definitely. I powered through it after watching the series and it's just as bizarre all the way through.
Its a great read, the plot is fun and as others mentioned the art especially is rather different (was initially taken aback but then loved it, its very fitting)
I only wish they had left out the fan service (which as usual was directed at men), which to me cheapened an otherwise excellent manga.
I'm about to finish it and I agree, the authors were very creative with how they have him use his magic.
