Heia all! Do you have some recommendations on any strategy roguelites where you get bonuses that you keep between games?

I should probably try to look it up, but I have been confused for a little while now.

What exactly do people mean by rogue like games? I feel like I can figure out roguelite based off the initial definition, but feel to explain that one to me also.

Well, I mean games where I get progression between games. Like, if I play a round and lose, I will get something that I can use the next time. Or if I win
