I find it interesting and sad that yet again, our traitor politicians follow the same plan as Putin.
This time it was the other way around, Putin and his cronies never cared about it until culture war monsters from the west started their current round. There are some speculation that they started it with the help of russian troll farms, but it's hard to tell

Oh, all of them were always extremely homophobic, it's an oldest Russian tradition that come from prison culture. For the "deep russian", the part of russian culture that Putin represents, being gay is the worst thing that can happen. But they never focused on trans identities that much before
