I thought it was shown that it definitely helps, but it really doesn’t matter where the needles are placed, just that you are poked.

I don’t doubt it may work for some people (placebo maybe?) but not for me. I have sinusitis, I was told that I may breathe well with acupuncture. Five sessions later, zero improvement, and a lot of money spent. The guy told me that I may need 5 more sessions because somehow my body was not reacting as expected…. For free? No, paying again. No, thanks.

Any study that shows positive effect is funded by the chinese goverment. Like 100% of thise studies show positive effect. Nothing else on the market that isnt snake oil shows 100% positive effect. Pushing TCM is chinese goverment way of increasing its political influence around the world.
