I’ve never seen anybody do Krusty so dirty. He’s just a depressed celebrity with substance abuse problems. Necessarily a bit shady, probably not a great role model, but there is a human being somewhere under that makeup!

Krusty also sometimes admits he's wrong and apologizes. He goes back to his old ways soon enough, but it's a cartoon.
