Fascist. You can call Höcke a fascist, courts say so. He is a fascist not just "right wing"

Worst thing is that he was a history teacher before he got into politics. Makes me sick thinking that this fascist stained multiple years worth of students with his ideology...

With many right-wing people, I get the impression that they feel insecure about their own worth. And so, to make themselves feel better, they punch downwards: Women, if those aren't yet emancipated. Refugees. Minorities.

If they have the nerve to punch down against disabled people, you know their own worth is zilch.

While at the same time projecting those groups as privileged compared to them

Jews can at the same time be the powerful secret rulers of the world but also just a "subhuman" according to them.

Populism tells people that they are better than others but are also worse off than those that they are better than so they don't have to feel bad to attack those

The enemy is both weak and strong. Whatever sells the lie better at the time. Inconsistency is on brand.

Dear Germany, please stop voting for Nazis. That last batch in the early 20th century was enough, thanks.

The problem is, many stupid people that never or rarely went to school or a generally just straight up stupid, like to vote for AFD.

I often had some school friends that told me his mom and brother was voting for AFD, while he lived more on a village and also told that they are not this intelligent.

Fuck him, and fuck the media for platforming him, and fuck every single political party for moving to the right.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

His party started directly from the far right. There are some investigations running to forbid his party because they are Democratic enemies.

Don't kid yourself, the AfD fuckers have supporters in the police and courts, and they're getting money from some parts of the capitalist class. They won't be shut down and they will come into power. And they'll do social murder. But then again, the libs are already doing social murder, just look at the asylum seekers. But that shit will get worse until people start actually pushing back on this shit, instead of just appeasing the far-right like the current government is doing.

German far right's Höcke wants to kick disabled kids

out of regular schools

That's how it showed on my phone and it wasn't wrong. Fuck this guy.

The inclusion is a EU project. It's very unlikely that he can legally segregate schools.

I'm not particularly happy about the inclusion project myself, because it has currently only lead to mindless cost cutting and worse teacher to pupil ratio, but I'm hopeful that it'll have positive impact once the implementation is properly finished. All EU countries are struggling to figure it out and they will eventually.

It's still delusional that this guy thinks he will have the power to change it. Don't vote for idiots like that. Anyone can make empty promises.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 10 months ago

That's not the point. He gives a fuck if it's actually possible. All his demented voters learn from this statement is that talking about excluding people with disabilities can again be said publically in Germany.

Inclusion. Hasn't worked in UK schools. It was suggested that "every child has the right to a mainstream education", but this was the 'spin' the government were looking for on the back of the Warnock report (I think). 1978.... yes it was a Tory government.

TL;DR Many UK educational units that were set up for pupils with 'high support needs' (the expensive stuff) were closed down, because cost cutting! All those pupils were shovelled into 'mainstream' which was already under-funded and badly provided for. This meant THEY were not funded and badly provided for, just like everyone else! Currently, 40 odd years later it's a mess. Many schools are not geared up to manage a diverse range of learners, even 4 decades down the road. There are educational environments that specifically cater to a range of differing needs so that everyone can access learning suitable to their wants, needs, level and all that. But they are few and far between.

Education needs more money, more respect, everything. Not fashionable and doesn't win votes though.
