If you abused any stims that make you lose weight a lot, dropping them usually pushes your bodyweight in the other direction. Know a few people like this. They always relapse

Heaviest I'd ever been was years back when I was deep in the sauce. It really shows in old photos.
I'm packing it back on because I'm old now, but empty alcohol calories were the worst.
I put on like 30+ lbs when I first got sober. I used food to fill the void instead of drugs. But through perseverance and dedication to improve my life I gained 5 more lbs the next year. With hard work and commitment you too can become an undatable adult at 36 years old, it's never too late

Can confirm, while not drugs I used to smoke like a ton, then when I quit I gained a ton of weight cause i can't stop eating.
