The cultural regions are New England, the Mid-Atlantic, the South, the Midwest, the Mountain West and the Pacific.

Politically the South and Midwest are conservative. New England, Pacific, and Mountain regions are liberal. The Mid-Atlantic is a mix.

Cultural differences are largely based on popular religions or lack of religion.

That's about it, Americans are pretty much all the same no matter what state or region you are from.

U.S. Corporations haven't been innovative in a long time, because they don't have to be. They wait for some small company to think of something good then they buy them out. They have so little competition that they hit the too big to fail level. The leadership of course get massive bonuses and their employees get nothing or worse, laid off.

The fact is that U.S. corporations don't seek to be the best, they seek a means to fleece the public. There is no investment in the future, only profit.

Sort of broad, but you'll find more experts working for Governments than at corporations. Corporations can't or won't pay top dollar to put experts on the payroll. They might hire one as a consultant if the price is right.

Most experts not involved in Government are self employed or do contract work.

I traditionally never back any lottery but when they break $1 Billion the ROI becomes too high not to toss in a few dollars. I've bought only seven lottery tickets in my life and won big on Powerball playing when the jackpot was huge. Playing every week, that is where you get in trouble.

2012 Ford Focus, 155K miles, it is leaking a decent amount of coolant when my partner drives it to work but doesn't even leak a drop if I drive it to work. The mileage is the same but I don't sit in traffic. Could the extra heat from sitting in traffic be opening up a pinhole sized leak in the coolant line?

Edit: Thanks to a tip from the comments when the heat is turned on it leaks. I should be able to bypass that line pretty easy.

Prices swing wildly. In New England, the burger costs $7-$8 in most locations, while the same thing costs less than $5 in nearly every metro McDonald’s in Texas. A Big Mac can cost less that $5 in some metro Phoenix locations but $6 or more in virtually any other McDonald’s in the state of Arizona.
