Can't relate. It's 20231231 for me.

Edit: Also this format is superior for file sorting. All files are chronological.

In your time format: 010124 goes before 123123.

You could have 4 files dated: January 01, 2002; June 11, 2001; July 21, 2004; December 31, 2003

In your time format the files would be sorted like this:

010102
061101
072104
123103

It's 2002, then 2001, then 2004, then 2003. What a fucking mess.

In ISO 8601, there's no such issue.

Before you reply saying theres a sort by date feature, yes I know, but file creation date isn't the same as when the data is actually recorded. You could be inputting that data from a piece of paper in 2005 after the data being recorded in the years prior, so the creation dates would all be in 2005. Also, sometimes when copying files, the dates randomly reset. Putting the date in the filename ensures it wouldn't disappear due to OS shenanigans.

Hey have you tried the Multiverse mod? It's like FTL 2.0. So much more content!

Lol there's only 4 animes I watched: Death Note, Steins;Gate, Mirai Nikki (Future Diary), and Zankyou no Terror (Terror in Resonance). I find most animes boring. In fact, the ones I watched is solely because of the plot, I don't like the media style of animations, I prefer live-action content (although I understand it's difficult to find actors and special effects that can portray the story as well as the anime, and there's budget concerns. Shinigamis would look ridiculous in live-action).

As for cartoons, there's only 2 that ever watched: Futurama and Rick and Morty (although sometimes I find R&M a bit too "edgy")

Using Tor is considered terrorist activity in France

Why couldn't the US just do the same?

Internet freedom and privacy needs not only needs protection by technological tools like Tor or VPNs, but also needs legal protection. Would anyone use Tor if the government starts raiding houses? Tor users are such a small minority that the government can easily throw you all in prison.

The Americans was boring af. Stopped watching early on.

I already finished Dark, I loved it, although the "You can't change fate" type of theme is a bit annoying. I watched 12 Monkeys (the TV show, not movie) which is anothet time-travel series and the atmosphere was not as dark (pun intended), and much more "chill" to watch.

The genres I like are: Science-Fiction, Alt-History, Political (but not too "real")

I liked watching:

The Magicians
The Expanse
The Good Place
For All Mankind
Man in the High Castle
(it was dark, but alt-history isn't really realistic so it wasn't that horrifying to watch)
Travelers
12 Monkeys (TV, not the movie)
Game of Thrones (minus season 8, that doesn't exist for me)
Breaking Bad
Designated Survivor
Kingdom (the Netflix Original that's in Korean)
Fringe

Some movies I liked were:

Terminator 2
Interstellar
The Martian
1917
Dunkirk
Back to the Future 1-3
Star Wars 1-6
12 Angry Men

Why is there always an authoritarian law being proposed every month?

A butterfly effect is the phenomeon that a small change in initial conditions that leads to a significantly different result than if the initial conditions haven't been changed. Have you personally witnessed such phenomeon?

Example: Your pet seeks attention and you decided to spend a few seconds to pet your pet before leaving for work/a party/shopping for grocerries/etc. You drive to an intersection and the light turns red just a few seconds before you arrive, the car ahead of you passed the intersection sucessfully. When you eventually arrive at the next intersection, you find the car ahead of you was hit on the side by another car from the intersecting road. The driver in the car ahead of you was instantly killed.

You've just been saved by your pet.
