Unless your buying a superspeed pci-e gen 4 drive you really don't even need a heatsink for most drives.

Im in the same boat, I like my pixel 6 pro, but less about device issues, I've had my fair share of them. To me google has left me pretty sour, and as someone who has been a huge android and was a fan of Google services. I just can't give a company my money when they cancel and sell off the services that I loved.

Pretty sure I'll be buying my first iPhone if I like the looks of the new 15.

I don't recommend galliumos anymore, it is an abandoned project and hasn't seen development since 2021.

If your Chromebook is compatible you can flash a full ROM bios and convert your Chromebook to a normal laptop and run full Linux or depending on the device windows 10/11.

It can absolutely be done, I've been running uefi modified Chromebooks for a while, my 12th gen intel Chromebook even runs windows now.

https://mrchromebox.tech/#devices Nearly every Intel Chromebook is supported and once flashed they boot like traditional computers.

I did hear about this, supposedly they did issue a couple false strikes but the latest ones were YouTubers using the Guinness world record logo in the thumbnail, which would be an infringement.

If someone destroys MY photograph that's destruction of property. If I burn a book not YOUR book that's no different than burning newspaper.

Kind of a odd chart, dba x cpu temp. I know the guy probably doesn't have a ton of testing equipment but I feel like dba x fan speed percentage or dba x cfm. Or if you wanted to test heatsink performance just max stress test temperature.

Pretty cool project, haven't seen it before. as someone who has used two different UEFI flashed Chromebooks as main laptops it's not something I would use. Really only useful if you want to retain ChromeOS compatibility and I guess only want Linux as secondary option.
