Makes sense for AZ. It takes about 3hrs to drive from Queen Creek to Buckeye (that’s going east to west in Phoenix). And neither of those suburbs/towns have bus routes. Farthest east you can take the bus is Chandler/Mesa and the farthest west is Avondale, you’re still 30-45min away from Queen Creek and about 15 from Buckeye. The farthest north is Peoria which is still the inner city, not sure about south because no one goes to south Phoenix lmao (iykyk).

Yeah we still talk, but only because I had 2 kids with her son. She constantly tries to get me to go back to him because and I quote “we can’t handle him when you’re not around.” Yeah no shit, now he’s abusing y’all instead of me. I don’t care if I’m their mom, let one of my kids treat me like that, let alone their spouse? Oh hell no, they got me fucked up. Yet when she found out about why I left she said, again quoted word for word, “well you used to cut yourself so I don’t see the difference.”

She’s grandma though so I allow the kids to VC her from time to time and she’ll send them stuff. I disagree that the American slave trade somehow prevented Africans from “running from lions”. Since colonialism and the world slave trade happened long before America was a thing. Despite what you may believe, Africa has had cities and kingdoms and crazy amounts of wealth millennia ago. They also invented some medical procedures like the c-section. Colonialism and the slave trade has harmed Africa.

Also, most of Africa don’t have lions lmao.
