Certainly possible! My husband watches a completely different type of content than I do and I never get recommendations from his feed unless we watch something that we've watched in a shared chromecast feed, and then only very rarely.

Style-wise, they look like the same generic clothes that you can get anywhere. If you don't know what looks good, these aren't going to help you.
Zipper cases. These are thin pillowcases that close with a zipper.
For people googling, I've always seen them sold as pillow protectors.
My group calls them first world problems.
