I've known since I was young that I don't want any. This was only reinforced after I adopted a kitten last year, regretted it to the point of depression after about 2 months, and adopted him off to someone else who I trust. I realised I absolutely don't ever want that kind of responsibility again so a human life would be infinitely worse of an idea. this is on top of terrible genetic health issues that I wouldn't want to force onto another existence.

instead of pride month, it's the kia summer sales event. I guess it's supposed to be a joke implying it's the only thing straight people have to celebrate this month.

From a logical standpoint, desktops are better. However, I prefer laptops in case I ever have to be somewhere far, fast. Either way both will probably end up as e-waste in the future. But at least with a desktop you can keep the case and PSU.

I absolutely love rollercoaster Tycoon. There really isn't a game like it.

I've almost never imagined myself as myself. Usually as a character from whatever I'm hyperfixated on at the moment. Ex if I picture a scenario in my head I see myself as Alucard the vampire or something.

me and a friend were talking recently about how we function better at night and summer takes that away. so, a few days ago I covered my window with a blanket which blacked out the window, and use only my lava lamp for light. it has been the most productive, multitasking filled era for me so far.

I still play 1.8.9.

This was quite a read. Made me honestly wonder how I would be under the same circumstances. It is an especially compelling argument to refuse sacrificing yourself for something which doesn't seem to care for you.

Unfiltered insanity: a story of extreme ups and downs

I was exclusively laptops until 2018, then started preferring custom built desktops. But ever since 2021 I've been very much a traveller so after spending 1500 to build a desktop and then having to get rid of it 3 months later to move, I bought a gaming laptop again and still have it 2 years later. Probably just gonna stick to ultrabooks / gaming laptops forever.

Having dropped New Vegas in the past due to lost interest, I decided to try this game out finally since a friend of mine was having a fallout 3 playthrough himself. It was it 8 bucks, so I figured why not. I have to say, I put way more hours into this game than both other Bethesda games I've played through (Skyrim and Oblivion) before even finishing the main quest line. The combat was excellent in my opinion, and I (seem to be in the minority of people who) really liked the story. The choices it forces you to make sometimes really had me feeling emotional at times. I also played it with some minor mods installed, just some custom outfits and real world guns for immersion. Nothing to break the story or anything, though there are a few DLC sized mods I'm eyeing up to play in the future. Overall I seriously enjoyed this game, I've noticed online it seems to be regarded as one of the least popular mainline games but I think it's become my favourite Bethesda game I've tried so far honestly. Seriously recommend anyone who hasn't played this yet to at least give it a try. It really pulled me in.

Edit: Since I'm done with F4, got New Vegas running with some nice mods to add gritty aesthetics and real world weapons. Giving it another try 6 years after I initially tried it and so far I'm way more into it!

Edit 2: more specific context

Worth noting: the warning originally had a direct mention that the attack was from a surveilling government, but they removed that part after being asked.
