session tries to promote their oxen cryptocurrency and lokinet which imo crypto currency are used by baiters to bait people into ruining their money

you dont understand what signal /molly is , do you ? they are centralized server and OP specificially asked not centralized server / server for that matter

matrix is good but it still need server , plus matrix.org takes quite a bit of metadata

jami's good but it uses turn server to verify your name

briar's bluetooth functionality can be violated plus no good ui/ux

Hello dear lemmy users , I am a fellow linux enthusiast who found about a particular website which made this image I hope you like it , lemmy fellows :) I would post this on other platforms like reddit /hackernews with the body being you should use lemmy

I personally think 7th one is really cool

Here are all the photos i took about linux *(pls note these are 20 images , if you want people i can maybe delete this post since it may look spam and there are more images that you may like as well that you may like)

(some of these also take pacman since pacman is part of arch linux utility which is linux and the distro i use , i tried to incorporate Linux tusk into it but i couldn't i would look into that later 😀 )

I use duckduckgo /Searxng /Startpage pls dont shame on me but these are wholesome apps that makes me never look at google again Thanks for the recommendation of Kagi otherwise!

How can Privacy.com be open source If they have to survive in the business they have to make it some propreitory I am a non american and i dont care about its proprietoryship , what i care is when would they open it to people like us! It seems such wholesome service and that too for freemium

Lemmy is built upon the ActivityPub Protocol which has the flaws mentioned above Bluesky is built upon the AtProtocol which to me also looks kinda great https://yewtu.be/watch?v=wJBCpzM1VfM ;- Video that explains the difference (i just watched it minutes ago) https://atproto.com/docs ;-Docs for learning how it works
