You'd be surprised how fast and easy to learn TTRPGs can be. Compared to what's available, DnD 5e is actually on the crunchier side (upper mid range overall)

5e is actually on the high end of medium crunch. That's not a bad thing though. The game mostly works and it is fun, but it does have its rough spots. I agree with you about not needing to change it though

Good choices. Those are pretty much the only stocks you ever need. Decent flavor variety and a vegetarian option. I prefer to make my own though

There's also the reaction from other developers claiming that the game "sets an unrealistic standard for what to expect out of a game" despite it being exactly what people want from a triple A studio. Just a complete, well made, functional game with no microtransactions

You need to weigh the feet down, but I'm willing to help. Cheap shoes and duct tape should do the trick
