I live in a region that has decently low YouTube premium pricing. If it’s ads or nothing, I may get a subscription. But I haven’t checked pricing in a while, so maybe it’s gone up too much.

I completely agree. I’ve started to migrate my work stuff to Linux to see if it will work.
I’m not hopeful that it will work, but the dev said I can try to use wine and that is not against their policy to do so and that I works but have to worry about an account ban.
So, let’s hope for the best.
It was the advertisers and government.
Oh, yeah. I just ignore that stuff. But it’s really annoying. I can’t even think of the last time I played a game online.
Oh, I got fallout 76 on sale super cheap and uninstalled it after 20-30 minutes.
100% Online gaming is pretty toxic and I love being able to play at my own pace.
Only exception to this for me was stardew with my wife.
Sadly that version doesn’t work well on steamdeck.
I think there are work around to get it working, but with my regional pricing it was just like $2, so I just grabbed it.
Linus tech tips did a video about this where he had his team use other tools. Essentially he was like, it would end up costing him more or the same as it would take his team longer to do the same stuff and relearn.
It might have been a shortsighted video, but you can look it up if you want to.
What do you mean? That they are based off Ubuntu?
Yeah? Skyrim has a really interesting landscape. Fallout is mostly empty land, a small hut/gas station or random buildings in the city.
Around level 40 I’m either 1 shotting people or it’s a bullet sponge. And I basically take everything.
Its difficulty curve is kinda weird. It starts pretty hard then takes a quick turn to a walk in the park.
I really liked baldurs gate, but got burnt out by the time I made it to act 3 and just quit the game. Maybe I’ll go back to it at some point.
I loved disco, it was the first game I played on the steam deck. After a couple hours, my wife asked me what I was watching😂 she thought Cuno was so annoying.
I’ll check out these other ones, I’d love to find a new crpg.
I hardly know/care about the fallout lore. I guess it’s just not a series for me.
I wonder how much more I’d like it if the mechanics where the same but had a different setting/story.
