Across everyone in the house, we have Hulu, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, and Disney/ESPN. Sailing the high seas means all the shows and movies available from those servicea can be accessed via one media server interface.

Every once in a while I log into Amazon Video to see if their interface is as hot trash as I remember. It always is.

Full remote.

I actually like going into the office ~2x per week. But tell me I have to and bump it to 4 days, I'm out. I also do not want my colleagues forced on site. My current ~2x/week is as productive as it is because the other people going on site now are there voluntarily and for specific reasons.

"I'm pretty certain he has already publicly apologized though."

Feel free to share evidence of the public apology, you seem to be remembering something no one else saw. All I'm seeing is him making excuses, no apology.

"the person touching me apologized"

Important part missing from this puzzle; any acknowledgment or apology from the leader of an organization sexually harassing women he has power over.

"I'm ready to be vilified to defend my ideals,"

Ok. He's a gross, sexist man who any organization should be embarrassed to have as a representative.

"I grabbed that part of my body that you have already seen"

Ah, so he's done this sort of thing before. Repeat behavior, unapologetic and doubling down on it. This should take the Spanish FA less than 24 hours to kick him out and issue an apology statement for having kept him on for as long as they did.

Why would they? It's takes work with no return. It's giving something of value (theoretically) for nothing in return, not even good relations for the restaurant since they are now gone.

Caffeine doesn't require a laboratory or manufacturing operations. It can come from plants. What would happen is people start growing and developing an underground caffeine distribution network and underground caffeine import network from countries that aren't dumb.

Weed users are less than 20% of the US population and that was a shadow industry bigger than most legal industries. Compare to 60% drink coffee every day, then there's tea drinkers and of other caffeinated beverages; people would riot and/or go underground to get their caffeine.

I'm 5'8" and that doesn't work for me, there's not enough room between me and the seat in front of me to fold all the way over onto the table before my head hits the seat in front of me.

Hot? I'm usually cold on airplanes. That would definitely make a difference for me.

Neck pillow for the neck kinks. I don't like the horseshoe shaped ones though, I like the trtl brand style. Expensive, but it became worth it when I took a job requiring a couple flights per month minimum.

I want the app to open to frontpage, aka only the communities I subscribed to, sorted by New. I want it to take zero clicks to get here; I just want to open the app and have it there.

Apps are updating rapidly of course, but the last time I went through the main Lemmy apps on Android, the best one still took two clicks to get to my preferred view every time I close and relaunched the app.

They were already broken, I just gave the ok to throw them out. They had been sitting there for more than half my lifetime, no one was doing anything with them, near as anyone could tell I was now the "owner" of them, I wasn't going to waste my time investigating 15 year old problems. So I said, "sure, make them disappear".

Someone in Finance took issue with that, something about making the $15 million value of those parts appear on the books correctly. Nice to get my first high-dollar mistake out of the way early!
