I don't think "it's weird therefore bad" is a good argument. If you're gonna argue for veganism (which I don't have a problem work doing!) I think there are way, way better reasons.

Blink has quite a few security benefits over Gecko, and while Firefox is plenty fast, Chromium is faster. I'm very much a Firefox gal, but there are plenty of reasons to use Chromium.
