Minecraft runs natively on Linux. What was the issue?
They work absurdly well, too. Ours takes the same battery pack as the lawnmower and a few other things and it’s basically inaudible if you don’t have direct line of sight on the unit.
ST is good out of the gate. I found it just fell off hard after S1. Hat’s off to the marketing team though. They saturated the internet with gifs and image macros and even managed to get a meme template generated.

I mean, Gnome suck imho. But, it’s easier to learn than dealing with issues that Mint causes due to drivers and game compatibility.
