I have the same issue. Too many kids. Haven't really gamed in years. The only game that I got that was over 10 bucks in recent years was Doom Eternal. Other than that I usually play D2 mods or emulate. I really wish I could get into Factorio, but that game never goes on sale.

My first "games" were the shareware episode of Doom and the HL demo disc. Didn't have money when I was a kid so I rarely got to play on arcade machines in laundry mats, kof and Metal Slug mostly. Love them still, but it wasnt until we got our first family pc in early 2000 and I got to experience those that really pushed me into games. I honestly have no idea where those discs even came from,

This is the reason why nothing will change. People continue to do the "easy way out". Keep paying the people trying to fuck over the content creators and the consumers cause it is easier than to find bullshit to satisfy your life. Good job.

Sounds like a good job.

There is many reasons to hate them. The difference is, I don't have to spam an essay on every vaguely animal related form to try to convince people. Funny that you already know that when animals are mentioned, PETA gets mentioned and people are smart enough to know bullshit when they see it. I hope you realize that you work for some really shitty people and get away. There is always time to make a good decision.

I remember surfing chans back in the day. I've missed it, but life gets busy. I hated reddit for a long told, but it had so much good information on there and such good third party apps that I caved and it became my favorite thing to do while shitting. I just found out about Lemmy and it feels like I slipped on an old broken-in glove. Thanks for the welcome. After the toxicity of reddit, this is nice.
