Governments need to be able to jail corporations.

Dude, who are you fooling, you expect me to Believe you never dropped an N bomb?

Yes. Millions of people can say the same.

Sounds like maybe you are surrounded and raised by racists? That sucks man.

On the other hand, our whole culture has been steeped in racism, ever since Europeans first set foot on the continent. So probably not a lot of people can truly say they've never had a racist thought or held some racial bias or did some racist thing, whether unknowingly or not. Because there are lots of manifestations of racist ideas and if one is white, one is probably blind to at least some of it.

It's a lot easier to never say a specific, disgusting slur.

I guess sensory things vary quite a bit among people with ADHD then. Because I usually only get super annoyed by some sounds when tired or stressed. Usually it's no problem at all. My wife has misophonia and sounds often make her angry or maybe murderous is a more apt description.

This is almost me, except the sense of relief I feel is proportional to the amount of stress experienced. Which is often much higher than it would be if I were NT.

Exactly.

When I accomplish something in a hobby it is an entirely different story. I am proud and happy, pleased, and all that good stuff. When doing these kinds of projects, I'm motivated by interest and not fear of negative consequences of failing.

Even if NT folks don't feel good about most accomplishments, I am guessing they probably would feel a lot less stress, anxiety, self doubt, self flagellation, etc. for the same task as ADHD folks.

I like the idea of exploring different sea ports. Right now, though, I am keeping an eye out for a cheap canoe (etc) so my kid and I can actually catch some fish for once. In a lake I mean.

nobody is interested in learning how things around them work.

Right? I think this to myself all the time. I mean I know it's not nobody but it sure seems like it is the vast majority.

And yes, I too have too many hobbies and not enough time. I really hope I live long enough to retire and have time for some of it lol

True. Although letting cats roam around isn't great either. They often get diseases (e.g. feline AIDS) or get run over and tend to decimate local wildlife. It's not awesome.

PS but doing this doesn't solve anything. They will get another cat and do the same goddamn thing.
