I went to Catholic catechism as a child and one of the few things I remember was Jesus washing other people's feet. I like the humility of that and it inspires me to want to do acts of service

I have a Shark Duo clean with a battery setup like this. I was able to buy a 3rd battery from some other manufacturer. Its great never having to worry about running out of juice.

I feel like the zero-covid policy could have worked if they had used an mRNA vaccine and vaccinated the elderly.

A whistling woman or a whistling hen, will drive the devil from his den.

I've been a long time Sync user and paid for everything he asked when it was Reddit. I'm $5 a month for my instance - startrek.website.

Haven't yet kicked in for Lemmy Sync. I feel good about sending some cash to the dev, but don't love subscriptions and the lifetime payment of $100 is a little too rich for me.

I dreamt I was in the lord of the rings world. Someone had been kidnapped and a party of three getting together to make a rescue. There was human, a dwarf and halfling. I was the halfling.

I talked to the dwarf and learned that his father was one of the group that had defeated Smaug and recovered the Lonely Mountain. He was understandably proud of that but was also being weirdly vague about which dwarf his father was. After asking several ways he finally admitted his father was "Lumpy". I said "You mean Bombur?". But know his father wasn't Bombur, but the otherwise pretty much forgotten member of the party "Lumpy" who was apparently more embarrassing than Bombur had been.

That was the whole dream.
