I was just having issues with your opener which sounds whole lot like justification.

Cloudflare is a business. Businesses protect their profits

You say that like it's ok to do shitty things as long as "you're a business protecting profits"

The slippery slope falacy is so passé my dude, get on with it.

It's mostly nerds who had the spine to migrate from Reddit rather than continueing to feed this machine that clearly brings no good for anyone.

I think you're right that they need to be transparent with what is considered political and what is not through a visible flag or something.

Though it's definitely great idea to reduce weights on political content and discourage it. That's the only way to get off this swamp and if we have to sacrifice gay pride parade talks to prevent the rise of fascism and genocide then it's a pretty good deal imo.

Agreed.

Threads is actually kinda fun if not all of the spam and straight up harmless idiots. Meta is right for once.

There are plenty of other tools for politics and it's better kept in smaller more mindful communities rather than these pools of random algorithmic shit.

What's the educated opinion of how could this been handled by Israel? Honest question. (Ignoring the fact that Israel failed with intel)

To me it seems like Gaza had no intention to get rid of Hamas though at the same time bombing is unnecessary as the culprits can't really leave other than the secret tunnels to Egypt which can't really be bombed.

So the only real alternative is a full Blockade and ultimatum or something? Clearly Gaza doesn't stand a chance against IDF too so Israel had all of the cards to conjure any response they wanted.

I've tried to Google similar modern scenarios and couldn't find anything.

So is basically every American tech company. I think its safe to assume that government has access of some sort to any entities that are physically present there. US has some scary gag laws that make whistleblowing almost impossible. Just look at Snowden and PRISM.

Learning a few phrases is not going to help you with the language barrier. Suggestion to become fluent enough for conversation before visiting a foreign country is just absurd lol

It's clear that ppl in this thread have never attempted to learn a foreign language as an adult huh

Not to take away from this but often these 4 are very similar languages that could be easily interpreted as dialects if not the identity politics.
