Hello, I'm far from an expert but I had a similar issue on my desktop, running mint and an Nvidia GPU. After looking at a lot of places for an answer one that did work for me was below

Ust/bin/Nvidia_sleep.sh. (off the top of my head it is something like this, can confirm later if you can't find it.)

At the top put in "exit 0"

See if it works for you. But it seems when I get an update it does at times get overwritten.

Why not have a structure in place that has Microsoft review/test code from third parties. At the end of the day it is Microsoft that took the public hit so they should be the last line of defence in this process.

Those that wish to have their code sit at the privileged/kernel level should either pay up or supply Microsoft with resources to do the tests Microsoft would require.

What shouldn't happen is third parties doing their work at a privileged level without the oversight.

Thanks for your reply. Although the slides above show a division within Ukraine caused by his history etc. This was ostensibly one country going to war against another for the should purpose it seems to occupy.

In the case of the Israel/Palestine conflict, this was basically a terrorist group attacking Israel and now Israel retaliating over and above what should be considered acceptable.

So why wouldn't China be more or at least just as vocal in calling for a cease fire and return to normality. Which was the basis of my original question.

I understand their are subtleties and many more parts at play, but let's just say STOP to Israel and Russia.

Nevertheless, Could you explain why China hasn't called for Russia to cease its war in stronger terms.

It is fairly easy to obey the road rules. The problem is that if over time the laws aren't enforced then it is easy over time for thos laws to erode, and then suddenly it feels weird to obey them.
