Huawei is not a publicly traded company. It's a private company wholly owned by its employees.

In some capacity. But currently India alone cannot fulfill their requirement.

Britain renamed Bharat to India

This is not entirely correct because India as a consolidated nation state did not exist when Brits entered the scene. It was rather a patchwork of empires. This was also the case until right before independence when Congress had to do a mad dash to convince the various princely kingdoms become a part of India by either the use of bribes or force.

This name change is a ploy to appease their Hindu nationalist constitutents and imbue in them a sense of pride and dignity without providing any material benefits. It also alienates the non-Hindu Indians because that's just what BJP does. They have been changing Urdu names to Hindi ones (example Allahabad→Prayagraj) for this very reason. Honestly, I feel if people knew what BJP did (and is doing) in Uttar Pradesh (a province) with Babri Masjid and making it a site for Hindu religious tourism they would understand how venomous BJP's rhetoric and agenda are but it's a whole can of worms.

I like that they have detailed the app's architecture in the documentation. I have zero android app dev experience so can't say for sure but it should be useful for someone who is learning and looking for reference.

It's not like Ukraine has taken any great steps to condemn American sanctions on Cuba.

There was never going to be any "post-war clean-up" so I am not sure why they are talking about the "challenge" in the first place.

It might be hard to imagine now, but Mr Putin himself told the BBC back in 2000 that "Russia is ready to co-operate with Nato... right up to joining the alliance".

"I cannot imagine my country isolated from Europe," he added.

Back then, early in his presidency, Mr Putin was eager to build ties with the West, a former senior Kremlin official told the BBC.

Gotta wonder how Russia never ended up being able to NATO despite this.

On the web ui, a popover should appear as soon as you type @ followed by three nonspace characters. You can select the user you want to tag from there and it should fill in the proper markdown. In the end it looks like this: @[email protected]

Awfully defiant of you

I think who provoked whom is a bit orthogonal to the dicussion though there is definitely merit in knowing the history accurately.

If one considers that Kim Il Sung with the help of USSR and China defeated Japanese colonisers, then the USA swoops in and reinstates some Japanese and their Korean collaborators to positions of authority in their half of the split, I think it would make sense if North Korea invaded without provocation. No blood was spilt by the Americans in the process of Korean liberation directly.
