I would say overall I'm below average. Fairly dumb. Bottom 30% of society.

I don't mind it too much. I know a lot about cinema and film history so I'm happy with that.

It's not "Black Lives Matter After Business Hours"

If you don't believe black lives matter all the time, then you don't believe black lives matter at all

Got two sci fis to recommend:

Coherence dinner party among friends gets stuck between alternate realities. One of those really good scripts that was shot on a microbudget. Weird movie, lots of fun to think about

Prospect a western film about a prospector going after a big score which also happens to be a sci fi movie set on an alien planet. Great film, very cool style and very underrated.

I cry at the most random things. Most recently I cried during the last episode of Only Connect because a contestant solved a clue in a very clever way

So you don't agree with BLM then

I still use both and they don't come close to serving the same purpose

Wow, I haven't thought about Wesnoth in nearly two decades. Great game!

I wish I could send you my budget and have you help me sort it out. I spend the absolute minimum. I feel like I'm starving myself, both physically and emotionally. And still I have nothing.

I hope and wish that there is a better job out there for me but I'm an unskilled college dropout with nothing but experience in food service and some retail. There's not a whole lot out there in my experience that pays above minimum wage.

I'm in my 30s so I should be used to this by now, but this shit is getting so stressful guys. I have no savings, my checking account is drained every month with rent, and if there's ever a serious emergency I have no safety net, I'm legitimately fucked. I'm one unplanned expense away from absolute ruin. Those in the same boat as me, how do you deal with this?

Does that not make you want to enjoy every moment of your life to the fullest? If it's the only one you get then you might as well spend it doing things that make you happy.

I'm sure there is but I never bothered, just disabled the notifications in my android settings. People who know me know that if they wanna contact me they can call or text so it's never really been an issue.

I don't really get messaging apps. I have discord on my phone but I disabled notifications because my phone buzzes any time someone posts anything in any community I'm a part of and it was getting really annoying. I also don't use it for messaging, I just use it for the voice lobbies.

Other than that, I text exclusively.

Interesting, I've definitely gone months applying for jobs and not hearing back for interviews or anything. I suppose location and sheer luck has a bit to do with it as well.
