Are YouTube shorts still 1 minute maximum? Until that changes, I don't think they'll be a viable replacement since content longer than a minute seems to be the sweet spot for a sizeable amount of Tiktok's user base. Especially when it comes to informative or political content.

Why not try running your own local instance of Nitter? No Nazis that way. I would if I used Twitter more.

Ah, I thought that was largely an Appalachian thing. But I guess that isn't quite the same since I don't think "haw" sounds like "whore" down there.

In what accent does a W have an R sound? Australian?

Yes, I've heard some people say that they trust DOs more because they're more deliberately trained to look at a larger picture of a person's health. I don't have my own opinion since I've never met with a DO.

Osteopaths (who have a Doctorate of Osteopathy and are often referred to as DOs) go to medical school and receive training that's almost exactly the same as an MD.

You could do a mix of options 1 and 2 and try LMDE (Linux Mint: Debian Edition), I've heard good things.

I think of someone describing weird movies like Evil Bong or Pink Flamingos. Not much out there can get less serious.

A short text the day after Father's Day. Then you did send something, it just wasn't timely or appreciative.

That said, I generally send my shitty dad a text on the actual day. It usually just says, "Happy Father's Day, have a good one." Last year I forgot to send one and then, when I remembered, chose not to.

TL;DR: do as much or as little as you want.

Free software can be freely copied, modified, distributed, etc. This doesn't mean you don't have to pay for it.

Open source software has its source code published. It doesn't necessarily mean that you're able to copy some or all of it, modify it, distribute it, etc.

It's getting more and more common that, even in cases where code is open source, only part of the codebase is actually available. This is something that Microsoft (and other wealthy tech companies) loves to do to show that it's "transparent."
