Is Linux Mint well adapted for touch screens?

I think I would go for GNOME if I were to use Linux with a touch screen. Then again, I'm using it anyway, so I'm probably biased.

As a leftist, I find them annoying because they make me look like an idiot by association.

50/50 leftists and Russian troll farms or worse, by any charitable outside evaluation.

Full beards are great. I can go a week without any maintenance and still look presentable. Any other style of facial hair is just too much effort.

I think zoomers are young enough not to have the generational memory of how creepy mustaches are, so suddenly they're cool again. I'm afraid it'll last until the zoomers are old enough to be the creepy ones.

I think the Fairphone 4 is also worth checking out. It works great with Ubuntu Touch, SailfishOS seems to be doing well on the device, and there's developments towards PostmarketOS. :)

That's what the TempleOS illuminati wants us to believe.

While Gecko should absolutely be made available for iPhone, it's worth noting there's nothing wrong with WebKit per se. It's open source (forked from KHTML), servers as the base for among others the GNOME Web browser, and is not a monopoly player (outside of iPhones).

In some messed up way, Apple's WebKit insistance has helped competition in the browser market by making sure there's at least one popular platform where Blink is not dominating...

I'm loving my Fairphone 3! Upgraded the camera modules to the 3+ camera, and changed the charging port once after water damage. Also used /e/ for a while, but back to stock now.

The improved camera of the Fairphone 5 looks tempting (also OLED), but can't justify upgrading when my Fairphone 3 ia still perfectly fine. I guess it'll have to wait until 5G becomes an absolute necessity and I'm left with no choice. :)

You can self host it as well. This is just a restriction of the online service - the problem being that most people are not going to self-host their conference calls.
