This is what will really happen. AI will never completely replace a development team, but it can (and will) cut it to a third of its size because all the bulk work is done by AI and just tested or proofread by humans. This will happen over all sorts of industries as different AI models are trained in different skills and fields.

At the end of the day though it doesn't much matter if you have 66% of people or 90% of people out of jobs, you have a major problem either way. If AI takes over the workforce something must be done for the people it is displacing.

Mind elaborating on those reasons? I'm also a Fold owner and I love it more than any other phone I've ever owned. If there are cons that I'm missing, I'd like to know before I go buy another one of these in a year or two.

This is a copypasta based heavily on Big Bill Hell's Cars which is the single greatest advertisement to ever exist.

Yeah. I've moved away from where I grew up and I miss the sound of the cicadas, weirdly enough. Summer just doesn't really feel like summer without the BREEEEEaaaREEEEEEEaaaREEEEE of the cicadas in all the trees.

They're annoying until you get used to them and then they just become part of the ambience.

Albin Countergambit Nuclear Ballistic Missile Defense might come in handy in one of your next games. It's a niche strategy but indispensable when you need it.

Uh, the news. According to GunViolenceArchive (link here ) who are not themselves necessarily a reputable source but do gather their information from relatively reputable sources, mostly police records and government sources, they actually don't have one listed for today! Hooray! But there was one yesterday in Florida and three more the day before that in Michigan, Indiana, and New Jersey.

Days without shootings do happen but are shockingly rare. Just take a look at the list there.

It doesn't really seem like it honestly. My buddy's girlfriend watches a lot of tiktok and it usually looks like multiple minutes of flicking past random bullshit to find one thing she likes, then rinse and repeat.

At least on Lemmy when I'm scrolling multiple pages of shit to find something I like, I'm not being immediately assaulted by your video I didn't want to watch on every post I scroll past.

The problem is that people take quotes like this as an excuse to slippery-slope into loving everything else Stalin did too. Why, I couldn't say. It's pretty fucking obvious that Stalin and Mao and Mussolini and etc. were horrible people but yet we still have people in the modern day tripping over themselves to suck off dictators that died a century ago.

If they were in the middle east they would be Muslim. These people did not choose Christianity from a multiple choice option. They were led down a path. If they lived in a different area they would have been led down a different path and the end result would remain the same, just with a different name.

Jersey Mike's consistently has good Phillies in places that don't know how to make a good Philly. I'm also personally a fan of the club sandwich mike's way. But that's about it. Everything else I can take it or leave it.

Those Phillies though, they keep me coming back to JM's in new places.

I disagree. I see it that Will is the ability of a particle or system of particles to affect change in the universe around it and alter the course of destiny. If we could know the current state of every particle in the universe, we could accurately predict the future, if nothing was then ever acted upon again. But particles possessing Will can alter their environment and effect a ripple of change that could then mean the entire prediction falls apart.

Worse: X AE A-XII Musk (only named this because X Æ A-12 was not acceptable to California regulations due to having non-English characters both in the form of numbers and of Æ), and later, another named Exa Dark Sideræl Musk (nicknamed "Y"). Both of these were with Grimes. Both of these are the official names given to these children, that is what is written on their birth certificates.

However, they were also preceded by around 8 other children with different women given much more normal names, so it's unclear how much influence Grimes had on the decision making here. X AE A-XII in particular though I will definitely attribute to Elon because his fixation on the letter X extends back decades at this point.
