Shout-out to one of my favorite managers of all time. Lady had some sort of complaint while I was ringing up her order. She asks to speak to my manager so I call someone over. Manager comes over to see what the issue is. Mind you this guy was the kind of person who would get in trouble for working too much OT from upper management. Hard ass worker, everyone loved him, always made friends with the customers. Anyway, she starts going off about her complaint or something and she says "well the customer is always right." And he calmly looks her in the eye and says "not today ma'am."
