Expanding piracy, a pretty brutal form of robbery, to include ignoring digital media copyrights only really makes sense if you're trying to vilify nonviolent criminals. I haven't heard good arguments for more than 5-10 year copyrights.

It's more of an idea that's like that than a place always being like that I think. Pirates, wild west, etc.

That place stands out in my memory too as really ominous. That and the plains in the northeast where I first defeated a golden saint, the astroid prison frozen above Vivek City, and the libraries and book stores.

Duck Soup, a comedy from about 100 years ago about a selfish clown who fails upward to political leader and ruins the country.

If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.

Don't play rigged games

Try to do the right thing, but actually take some time to try to figure out if it's right or just feels right.

Being right and being wrong feels the exact same until challenged with facts.

That's weird because 'In the background while you do stuff' is Golden Corral's new slogan

In space sciences coming up are new manned Moon missions followed hopefully by some Mars missions. Also LISA is a huge interferometer that is planned to be deployed in orbit by ESA around 2035. Different size interferometers can measure different wavelengths of gravitational waves. LIGO (the interferometer observatory already in action measuring black hole collisions) has arms 4km long and can measure wavelengths in the range of 7Khz-30hz. LISA will have arms 2.5 million km long in orbit around the sun and is expected to be able to measure much much smaller waves.

TeX. I was able to use it during school for some beautiful type setting and formatting but nobody I work with wants to use anything other than plain text or unfortunately more commonly binary wysiwyg editor formats. It's frustrating and ugly.

Unusable for me with ads as well. Grey loading screen and choppy audio instead of actually loading ads, never gets to the video. If I reopen the video a few times to skip the ad the video loads fine. No problems with online gaming, streaming services, etc so I know it's their shit Roku app and ad network and not me. Ad blockers make it actually usable.

That's probably it, communism specifically for posts sounds kinda weird.
