From my experience they prefer payment that isn’t easily disputed / claimed as fraud. Don’t get me wrong I was more than happy to get the points, it’s just unusual, since they do typically prefer cash / cash adjacent

The artist I just got a tattoo from was fine with taking a credit card. I thought it was weird too, but they are out there
Every time. Day off? Nope no relaxing, it's cleaning time because no productivity is not allowed
Honestly a smart watch has been a game changer for me simply for the timer function. I often don't walk around the house with my phone, so setting a timer either requires me to remember to set it once I'm back to it (and then the calculation of how long that took, which is an ordeal on its own) and then remembering to carry it around afterwards so the timer can do its job. But with a smart watch? It's right there, easy peasy to set and you can't put it down and forget about it. There's loads of other uses too, but easy access to timers is so handy
I love CallMeKevin, he’s so funny and generally wholesome, his content is great. Beyond that it’s all over the place. Tolkien Untangled, Wendigoon, Contra Points, Cracking the Cryptic for wild sudoku solving, Ryan Hollinger, a lot of history channels, things like Real Engineering, and coding stuff when needed
but for skill based reflexive games? Gimme Nightmare :)
Agreed 100%. I played Beat Saber for the first time this weekend, and had to jump up to hard mode because the easier levels were so dull. Those types of games definitely are the best example of 'if it's too easy it's boring'
Playing on easy instead of challenging yourself just go get through it is making the games worse for you
This definitely depends on the person, I love when games have easy modes. Games can really make me anxious and stressed, so being able to lower the difficulty improves my enjoyment immensely. Don't get me wrong, I love challenging games too, but that challenge can ruin it for me sometimes too - especially if it's a single player story mode.
That's what I was thinking. With these sorts of announcements, it's normally just 'Well. It'll be what it'll be', but with how great Castlevania was done, there's actually a decent chance this will be solid
I always feel so good for solving one, then boom the next puzzle is a slight variation that removes the way I just solved it and it’s like... damn. They went and predicted it and then said ‘fuck you’
Yes! Baba is You is so so so good. I love how it makes you think differently
Nah, everyone reacts differently to it, the ones that enjoy it are just a lot more vocal about it.
Personally THC has varied effects for me. Some strains make me space the fuck out (even more so than usual), as if I'm just skipping forward through time, no background thoughts, nothing. Just flash and I'm 20 minutes later. Others make me extremely anxious. Some make me spiral into a really bad depressive 'everyone hates me. I hate me' state. Some cause me to pass out, and not in the 'mmm good sleep' way, just straight up collapse to the ground pass out. I've found very few that have positive effects for me.
So you're definitely not unusual! The THC anxiety is very real
I’m choosing to imagine he’s running a very very very slightly larger circle each time, getting closer and closer to his neighbours as he goes - instead of it being the precision of the sat nav (and the larger circles only being noticed over a matter of weeks)
