American History X is probably not the best de-Nazifying material but I do agree that in a perfect world, forcibly reeducating them is a more ideal solution, and in certain situations maiming or even just punching can work as a short-term solution.
It's not so much about hate as it is about defending ourselves and protecting the people who their continued existence is a constant threat towards. Though the hate doesn't hurt.
Some of us don't have the luxury of waiting for a perfect solution. In the meantime, Bash The Fash
Lining up defeated Nazis in the community rec center, rolling out an old CRT TV, and showing them the Green Book lmao.
They'll be begging for the wall in no time.
Make them all attend sensitivity training
Reeducation is for peace time, after winning and substantially changing the system. Sure, right now you may be able to change individual minds. I’m sure many here started off as some reactionary, I know I certainly did. But the problem is that the institutions with power and influence and the condition that created Nazis are still present and PROMOTED by society.
It’s the equivalent of Planet Fitness. Will some members become very fit and very healthy? Absolutely, with the right program and discipline, they can achieve that anywhere. But when you discourage advanced training, fill the gym with ineffective machines made by conmen, and feed everyone pizza, the majority will continue to stay unfit and unhealthy.
