Why? There's no intrinsic value in this one random space rock, especially if we have access to the technologies to use others
Considering it's the only known one to have life on it...
Yes... that's actually quite a bit of intrinsic value that may not exist on any other planet.
You can find a relatively unique composition of matter on every planet
We just really like this one.
