China doesn't do everything wrong, but you gotta weight positive versus negative achievements here. Lots of my Chinese friends came to Europe for their PhD and stayed for a reason. My Chinese wife came to Europe for a reason.
Just conveniently forgets the part where China was colonized by the U.S. and a bunch of European countries…
Japan also did it! Everybody has to do that at some point, it's fun.
I hear it’s less prevalent in Japan though, maybe due to cash still being used more?
