This shit was so criminal in schools and it almost make me not want teachers to get a pay raise because how can so many of them be this dumb?
I didn’t have to go then and even if I could’ve, I don’t need to beg to use the bathroom.
Yeah its the underpaid teachers fault and not the rules and safety around being in charge of minors. Schools get sued all the time over every little thing. Schools around here are losing teachers and hiring unqualified random people because theres no money. Yeah lets make the education system worse than it already is.
I'm a middle school teacher and generally very permissive with my students when it comes to using the bathroom. That being said, bathroom breaks must be managed. Students routinely go into the the bathrooms to fight, smoke weed, vape, have sex, and other nefarious activities. In a perfect world I would love for my students to be able to get up and go when it was necessary, however, as a teacher I have to keep tabs on whose in and out of my classroom.
