Some cats do bite randomly but that's their way of showing affection. They see you as one of them, so they bite you. They just don't understand (or really don't care) that without an entire layer of fur they're hurting you.

Ive been trying to explain this to a friend of mine. I have these sensation cravings. They're... pretty abnormal. Biting people (consensually) is a decent example. Touching grass is lackluster, sitting on a log is what nature is really all about.
