Yeah the Whole prospect of the Cardassians was an on-the-nose analogy of Nazi Germany. Until the dominion came and changed things, that is. :)
You know, that idea was definitely always vaguely present while watching the show. But reminded of it like this just now makes Mark Alaimo as Gul Dukat so much more chilling seeing him as a direct Hitler analog.
