Most of the dreams I remember are what I guess you would call the 3rd person where I'm watching myself go through the dream. It's hard to explain. It's kind of like watching a movie while also being an actor in the movie if that makes sense.

I haven't even heard of half of these shows, let alone watched them. Who even has time to watch all of these?

Once again fans are stepping up to help Bethesda patch up their latest release. Still, the fact that there are no city maps is just kind of baffling. I could understand a bad map or a confusing map, but just a bunch of icons in blank space? It still feels like it should be a glitch even though it is apparently completely intended.

I mean I guess it's better than amplifying misinformation, but it's still a cop-out to get out of moderating the topic. Mildly curious just how many topics Threads censors search results for.

If/when this game releases I'm looking forward to the videos and articles charting the troubled development cycle from start to finish. At this point, there has to be a lot of material there.

Obviously, GameStop has a vested interest in discs sticking around, but it feels like that ship has sailed. Can't remember the last time I bought a physical game and it wouldn't surprise me if the next generation of consoles do away with disc drives altogether. Not really sure how to feel about that. Kind of sad having grown up using discs, but at the same time, it just feels inevitable that consoles are going to move to digital-only distribution.

The IATSE discussing unionization is good, actually unionizing is even better. Although, I'm not sure how much unionization would actually do to curb crunch culture. It will obviously help on some level, but with the idea of crunching so ingrained in the industry, I feel like it will take a while for anything to change.

Generally, what you have on the list is what I want to see from a gaming news outlet. I especially like the idea of focusing on older games, mods, niche communities, and that sort of thing. I guess if there was more of something I wanted to see in games journalism it's more in-depth coverage of gaming topics and less rushing to cover the latest AAA release. I'd much rather be reading a long-form article about microtransactions or watching a video essay on the possibility of a video game actor strike than reading about where to find the best ship or weapon in Starfield. Of course, I'm just some random person on the internet, so take that all with a grain of salt.

Yeah. At least when nuclear war was the existential threat hanging over humanity you had the comfort that it would all be over in an instant. Now we get to watch a slow unraveling of civilization over decades while things continue to get worse. Fun times.

Disappointing. Obviously, there's no way to tell whether the game would have actually been good or not, but stepping away from the Ubisoft formula and taking some inspiration from Elden Ring would have been a step in the right direction.

I mean, yeah America's rightward spiral is depressing, especially if you live there. But it's not exactly an American-exclusive phenomenon. Italy elected a far-right party, France might in their next Presidential election, and even Germany's far-right party is surging in the polls. Honestly, I'm struggling to think of a country that hasn't seen a massive rightward surge over the last few years.

I enjoyed the demo they put out for this, definitely nailed the cozy exploration aspect. Looking forward to picking it up when it launches.
